Planet Erda, a brief description
The planet Erda is roughly 7,920 miles in diameter and just over 500,000 years old. It's shaped roughly like a sphere, although it's swollen at the poles and squashed at the equator. On Erda, the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.
At the northern and southern poles of Erda are massive deserts: Lacerta at the north and Antcerta at the south. They're collectively referred to as the Arid Twins. Each desert has a surface area of about 4 million square miles. Though technically considered continents in their own right, there are no major cities or governing bodies save for wandering desert tribes.
Due to Erda's tilt, Lacerta receives 24 h

The Epic of Solstice (dragon story)
This is a story sung by the dragons of Tisagvu for generations.
Many years ago, there lived a mighty lord of dragons, Usikion. Usikion had pitch-black scales and a sign on his left breast; the bright full moon. As the lord of the dragon clans of the north, Usikion took several mates, as was his right. All of Usikion's children were proud and strong dragons, but none held any special mark or magic beyond that of normal dragons.
As the lord of dragons, Urikion ruled over many smaller lands surrounding his kingdom. Amongst his "subjects" were the neeras, a tiny race of mouse-like beings. Some dragons saw the neeras as nuisance, or worse yet, p

The Heir, Apparently: Chapter 1
The Empire had been shattered for over a decade. Many people across the five kingdoms suffered a lot of grief from the loss, and some still sustained that pain today. That's why Cerven considered himself one of the lucky ones. He was one of the few people who didn't remember what life was like before the empire fell. Then again, he didn't remember much of anything before waking up in an alleyway twelve years ago.
But either way, the loss of the empire didn't considerably affect Cerven Acciai. He'd lived the last decade in the suburbs of the kingdom of Majinchi. The suburbs were a decent place to live, with a variety of people. There were orc

Whispers of the Past, Chapter 10
When the binding magic on the guards finally wore off, Jules ordered a search of the surrounding desert to find the three dark dragons. But it proved fruitless. In the meantime, Jules brought Rune and the other younglings to the palace.
It was hours later. Rune sat dead center in the Elders' meeting chamber. Jules had summoned all of the Paladins to the meeting. Rune's entire adoptive family was there as well. Roxanne stood with her parents, since she acted as a witness to what had happened.
All the eyes of the Paladins were on Rune's back. He shivered in fear. Suddenly being in the company of the dark dragons wasn't so bad. Rune looked ove

Whispers of the Past, Chapter 1
For the third night in a row, a young dragon suffered a terrible nightmare.
In his dreams, the dragon found himself stranded in an endless forest. A chilly wind blew against his scales. He didn't see any stars beyond the treetops, only an infinite void.
Worried, the young dragon wandered down a narrow pathway through the trees. The skeletal branches almost seemed to reach out to him as he passed by. His yellow eyes functioned much like those of a feline; they let him find his way through the near-total darkness. He dared to draw only shallow breath. He flinched whenever a twig snapped, or a dry leaf crunched underfoot. The youngling was worri

Prolog: Where something Finally goes right
Sleeping, it was one the few ways any of them could escape. They all craved it, wanted it and above all, needed it. It was why if someone was asleep; they were not disturbed. So when something woke him up with no warning or reasoning, not only was he confused, but he also annoyed.
He opened his brown eyes, his tired brown eyes. There was nothing, nothing but the other subjects all sleeping in their large room. The room was dull; a bench lined the walls except within a few feet of the only door. There was a two-way mirror up on the north face wall, how any

RP Prompt: Owned by a Dragoness
You slowly wake up from slumber in a seemingly-dark place. You're in a rectangular room, except that the far wall is really a series of bars and a locked door. All that's in the room is a bed, a toilet and a sink. Everything seems a bit hi-tech. And that's what scares you first.
You're an anthro mouse, and you came from a tribe of mice that lived in the wild. You hunted, gathered, and fended off vicious feral predators. But one day, giant creatures that flew through the sky and walked on two legs descended on your tribe, and... You can't remember what happened next.
You look yourself over. You're wearing a white tunic with matching shorts.

To Encourage a Giantess, Part 1
It was the twenty-third of June. I was sure that I had plenty of time. I could carefully head in, grab some food, and get out of there. I could hear the shower running upstairs; the giantess would be in there for a while; thirty minutes at least.
My name is Connor. I have messy brown hair, blue eyes, and a slightly-pale complexion. My "clothes" are just rags fastened into the shape of clothing, and it was quite filthy. I'm also covered in scratches and cuts from fighting back against small animals like squirrels and mice. I've carved a living out of hiding under the feet of humans for nearly eighteen years.
My kind calls them "giants", whil
So unexpected
A cold night, a calm night. A leaf blows in the wind as it goes through the world. It cares not for what is around, only that it is getting a free ride. The people of the land are sleeping on peaceful night.
Well, not all. A group of five move swiftly through the night, disturbing the leaf as they passed it, causing its journey to end. These five men are well armed, lightly armored, and though on horses, are silent as the night around them.
They have a mission to complete and they aim complete it.
Their path is long, but they care not, their target is coming up quickly, they must be ready.
Soon they
